Kindermusik Storytime

Thu., Aug. 4 • 9:30–10:15 a.m. Kindermusik classes involves singing, instrument play, dancing/movement, storytime, and more. Discover how music can enrich children and lay the foundation for a lifelong love of learning with this safe, fun, and developmentally-appropriate program. Presented by Leah Egan, certified Kindermusik instructor. For ages 0 to 5 years.    

Hunters of the Night

Wed., Aug. 3 • 3:00 p.m.  Learn all about the owls that live in Illinois, and get an up close look at live birds of prey! Presented by Flint Creek Wildlife Rehabilitation. For all ages. A limited amount of free tickets will be available at the Youth Services desk starting on July 27. 

Summer Lunch Program

Wed., Aug. 3 • 12–1 p.m.  In partnership with the Northern Illinois Food Bank, the library is serving free summer meals to children ages 18 and under. This program is coordinated by the Northern Illinois Food Bank and offered at no cost to the Villa Park Public Library and its patrons. Registration is not required. The Three Bears

Tue., Aug. 2 • 10:30–11:30 a.m.  Learn about the three species of North American bears and their habitats: the black bear, the grizzly bear, and the polar bear. National Coloring Book Day

Tue., Aug 2 • 9 a.m.–9 p.m.  Celebrate National Coloring Book Day at the library! We’ll have giant poster-sized coloring pages out all day that you can work on together in groups. We will display finished posters in the library. For all ages. Registration is not required.
